The Laboratory for Musculoskeletal Crosstalk is currently recruiting scientists at all stages of training, including postdoctoral research fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate research assistants.

Our research involves close collaborations with diverse scientists, clinicians, and members of the integrated multidisciplinary research environment within Orthopaedic Surgery and across UCSF campuses. We will interact and collaborate with members of the UCSF Musculoskeletal Center, Diabetes Center, Benioff Microbiome Center, Bakar Aging Research Institute, Pain and Addiction Resource Center and Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine who offer advanced microscopy tools, imaging capabilities, metabolic assessments, biomechanical testing, sequencing approaches, cell & molecular biology and statistical support to bridge basic, translational, clinical and computational work in this supportive environment.

The Collins Lab is affiliated with a number of graduate programs at UCSF and accepts students from the following: Biomedical Sciences (BMS), Bioengineering (joint with UC Berkeley), Developmental and Stem Cell Biology (DSCB), Oral and Craniofacial Sciences (OCS), and Rehabilitation Science.
